The Fay
In the first days of Falconer, Fay lived side by side with falconian but The falconians grew and worked the land cutting down forrest and minning mountains to build towns. So the fay of falconer retreated to the deepest of forest and lonliest of mountains to excape the progress of the falconians. But Great lord of the Hunt Gwyn ap Nydd would not let this happen, and he would find a way to stop the falconians destruction.....
The Falconians
The Ancient falconians were a beutiful and poetic people who were desendant from the Diona Sidhe. They were a nomatic people but they never untited together beyond there small tribal societies. Many centuries passed with the people and the land in peace, but eventualy the Falconians started to settle down. They farmed and mined and grew in number like never before. The fay that they once called freind abandoned them and retreated to the secluded regions of falconer...that was not the last they would hear of the fay and the creatures of the old world...for they would return.
The Clan Feud's
The Falconians as a rule are a superstitous people and distrusting people. There has never been a king in falconer only clan chiefs, and the occasional short lasting confederacy of a few clans to drive of an invader. Feuds were a rare occurence that was only sparked due to murder, marriage, or land disputes. The First Disruption in the Peace that had lasted centuries was The invasion of Scatha the Fire Starter and his Army of Norsmen. All the clans of the north banded together to crush the invasion before they moved inland. what resulted was the Battle of Silver Cliff, Scathas Army was devastated but was victorious, the clans had lost thousands of warriors but they gain one small victory. They had burned Scatha's Ships, leaving his desimated army no retreat. Soon after the battle the Norsmen killed Scatha and their ranks broke into chaos, and the did the only thing they knew how to to do, they Raided.....The Raiders devestated The north and with the first defeat at Silver Cliff, no northern clan would come the the aid of anothe clan thus creating bitter sentement. The Norse Raiders eventualy went south and were slaughtered by the southern clans, and once the threat of raiding was gone the slowly recovering northern clas started fighting and raiding each other....
In the South Peace remained until the small Kelsey clan inexsplicably Started Raiding any one and everyone who had wealth and could not defend themselves. These acts of raiding and war made loch liden very prosperous, and so many clans desiring power followed the Kelsey's example and raided until the entire south was ablaze with war....
The Rise of Julian and Loch Liden
The Kelsey were a fishing people that settled on an island in the lake of loch liden, and were a peaceful poor clan until a young noble named Julian Kelsey Started his wars for power. The clan raided along the lakes coast gaining numbers by allying themselves with smaller clans wanting protection from larger more powerful clans. As Loch Liden grew the Kelsey built a great bridge to the mainland, and it was on that bridge that the first retaliation was fought apon. It became a massive battle once the greater clans sent warriors to help end Julian's War. The Coalition of clans against Julian fought for five days on that bridge trieing to breach the main gate but in that narrow corridor the Kelsey slaughtered the allied clans. After That first Great Battle Many of The Clans in the south Submitted to Julian and his Growing Army....
The Last War and Nations Unification
Once Julian had gained a large enough Army he paused his his great war for a period of two months and in this period he became a Nachttoter and stalked the night changing the greatest of his warriors and nobles into Vampire as well. During this short period the Northern clans were united by a warlord from the Caig Clan
by the Name of Daire he forsaw the battle that was comming and he prepared the Bickering clans of the north for war... For Years Daire Fought Julian And His armies until he was eventualy captured and put to death...but the war draged on and only after two centuries the last of the northern clans was subdued, and the land was at peace.....
THe Vampire Aristocracy And The time Of Peace
Unity amongst the clans brought unprecedented unity and wealth to the nations people, things much needed after so many years of civil war. Julian made Loch Liden greater then before. The vampires of his court went back to thier respective clans and built great Castles to watch over the people. The land was set right as it was in the old days.
